How to rotate a PDF and save it on Windows
Drag the PDF, hold Shift, move outward and drop it on Rotate right or Rotate left. A rotated copy appears next to the original – and it stays rotated wherever you open it.
The usual ways – and their catch
- Rotating in the browser or PDF reader. Turns it only on your screen – the file is still sideways for everyone else.
- Paid PDF editors. Can save the rotation, but cost money.
- Online tools. Upload, rotate, download.
Turn the pages the right way round – the quick way with Velvet
- Start dragging the PDF and hold Shift. Move the cursor outward.
- Drop it on Rotate right or Rotate left. All pages turn 90°.
- Done. The rotated copy appears next to the original.
