What's new

Velvet keeps getting better

Velvet is actively developed. Fixes and new tools come as free updates through Microsoft Store – you pay once and keep getting them.

Coming next

Video tools – compress a video for e-mail or WhatsApp, MOV to MP4, video to MP3, trim
Slovak and Czech
Clipboard Ring – your recent copies in a ring

Planned, in no particular order – no dates promised. Missing something? Tell us with Send feedback in Velvet or at info@rmat.sk.

Long jobs show real progress – how many files are done and about how long is left – and a Stop button that leaves nothing half-made behind.
More reliable: the ring keeps working after sleep or a change of displays, and Velvet repairs itself if something goes wrong.
Restart Velvet right from its icon in the taskbar corner.
Updates from Microsoft Store go through smoothly even while Velvet is running.
After an update, a short note tells you what's new.

The first-run tour now shows both ways to open the ring: hold Shift, or drop the file on the Velvet zone at the top.
Pin Velvet to Start right from the tour – no more desktop shortcut left behind after uninstalling.
Split a PDF by the parts you pick – e.g. 1, 2, 4-50 gives three PDFs.
Signatures and stamps land exactly where you placed them, on every kind of PDF.
The app shows its real version number.

First release in Microsoft Store.
Velvet Ring: 40+ actions for PDFs, photos, archives and any file – sign, stamp, compress, merge, PDF to Word, OCR, blur, HEIC to JPG, unzip and more.
Velvet Link: photos, files, text and links between your phone and PC over your own Wi-Fi – no app, no cable.
Pick your own ring key or a side mouse button in Settings.

Pay once, no subscription – updates included.
