How to delete pages from a PDF on Windows
Drag the PDF, hold Shift, move outward and drop it on Pages. Choose Delete these pages and type them, like 2, 5-7 – a new PDF without them appears next to the original.
The usual ways – and their catch
- Print to PDF with a page range. Fine for keeping one block of pages, awkward for removing a few in the middle.
- Paid PDF editors. Can do it, but cost a lot for an occasional fix.
- Online tools. Upload, click the pages, download.
Remove the pages you don't need – the quick way with Velvet
- Start dragging the PDF and hold Shift. Move the cursor outward.
- Drop it on Pages. Pick Delete these pages – or Keep only these pages for the opposite.
- Type the pages and save. For example 2, 5-7 – or 10- for page 10 to the end. The new PDF appears next to the original.
Pages the wrong way round? Rotate left and Rotate right are in the same ring.
