How to reduce photo size (KB/MB) on Windows – many at once
Select the photos, drag them, hold Shift and drop them on Compress. Pick Smaller, Smallest, or Fit for email – smaller copies appear next to the originals.
The usual ways – and their catch
- Paint → Resize → Save. One photo at a time, and it's easy to overwrite the original.
- The Photos app. Can resize one picture, but not a whole holiday.
- Online compressors. You upload private photos, wait, and download them again one by one.
